Saint Ann Catholic School is located within the heart of Decatur Alabama and is committed to providing a FOUNDATION for academic excellence and faith.  Saint Ann emphasizes cognitive skills in which students build knowledge and understanding of his/her life’s responsibilities. Beginning at age 3 and continuing through the 8th grade Saint Ann integrates prayer, Christian principles, and service into its curriculum and extra-curricular activities. We encourage students to imitate Jesus’ love in word and action. “Treat everyone with respect, everywhere, all of the time” is our school motto recited and practiced daily. Our students experience the advantage of having a small classroom setting that allows our teachers the ability to focus on our students and their individual needs. Our commitment to academic excellence is further evident through Saint Ann’s selection process of its faculty and administration, many of which hold advanced degrees in education and/or administration.   At Saint Ann, we work diligently to create and maintain an environment that teaches self-discipline and personal responsibility, while preparing your child for the next level in their education and lifelong achievement. Saint Ann Catholic School is a member of the Diocese of Birmingham. This Diocesan Catholic School System received district accreditation in 2010. Accredited by the Southern Association of College and Schools (SACS) and recognized as Private School Status by the Alabama Department of Education, Saint Ann Catholic School is dedicated to laying the foundation for academic excellence and a faith based life journey for our students.
