Hello! My name is Patrice Lappert. I have been a registered nurse since graduating from Pennsylvania State University in 1978. I have been married to Deacon Patrick Lappert, M.D since 1981. I served in the United States Navy as a Nurse Corps Officer for twelve years; my husband retired from the Navy as a Medical Corps Officer with twenty-four years service. We have six grown children and one grandchild. We have lived in Maryland, California, South Carolina, Florida, Tennessee, Virginia and Nebraska. We are happy to now call the great state of Alabama our home!
For twenty-four years, I have been a catechist for elementary and high school students in parochial schools and parish religious education programs. It is an absolute joy and an honor to teach second, third and fourth grade religion to the precious children at Saint Ann Catholic School. My goal is that the students do well in religion as an academic subject, but more importantly, that they also develop a relationship with Our Lord and stay close to Him in His Word, Sacraments, and service to others.
