3rd – Carmen Callahan

Hello!  My name is Carmen Callahan. As a newly-retired public school teacher with more than twenty-five years’ experience, I am looking forward to continuing to work with students at St. Ann School in 3rd grade.  My connection to this school and parish are strong, as a parishioner at Annunciation of Our Lord Catholic Church and a former St. Ann student!  My teaching experience includes having taught in grades pre-Kindergarten through 3rd in a regular classroom for ten years and seventeen years as a certified teacher of English as a Second Language (ESL).

It is my goal each day to help students grow in their faith through practice; develop responsible behaviors so they can experience lifelong success; and leave school each day wanting to return!  A verse from the Bible that gives me great encouragement is Isaiah 41:10, which says:  “Fear not, for I am with you, be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my victorious right hand.”
