I am blessed to be a part of your child’s life and Saint Ann Catholic School.
I have worked in the public school system for 6 years, as both a teacher and a volunteer.
I also volunteered at the local library as a storyteller. Having an appreciation for the written word and enjoying a good story is the foundation for a student’s future success. I taught K4 at Saint Ann Catholic for the past 8 years and retired last May. I now volunteer as the school Librarian.
I am originally from Indianapolis, Indiana where I attended Indiana University, Purdue University of Indianapolis. I received a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication from I.U.P.U.I.
Since my graduation, I have taken many Professional Development classes including workshops on Autism and Sensory Processing Disorders. Attending workshops and additional Early Childhood classes allows me to keep the learning experience fresh and exciting for my students.
My husband and I have called Hartselle home for the last 12 years. Our daughter Nicholle attends the University of North Alabama. Go Lions! We are also parishioners of Annunciation of the Lord Catholic Church.
I am truly excited about being here at Saint Ann Catholic School and working with your children in the Library.
