I would like to officially introduce myself as the new principal. My name is Brandi Lumley, and I am looking forward to joining the Saint Ann’s family. My husband, Jay, and I have been happily married for 11 years, and we currently have two amazing children: Arianna, age 8; and Preston, age 5. I have been blessed to have grown up in the Catholic faith and attended Catholic schools from kindergarten through 8th grade.
I received my Elementary Education degree from Athen’s State University in 2011. I spent five years teaching fifth grade at Sacred Heart in Cullman and then moved to the sixth grade position and acting assistant principal while completing my master’s in Instructional Leadership from the University of Alabama. I officially graduated this past spring in 2020.
I am blessed to be given the opportunity to lead the school into this upcoming year. I plan to make this a banner year despite many uncertainties with the ever changing developments from COVID-19. I am working diligently with the Director of Catholic Schools, Margaret DuBose, in creating a plan to keep the safety of the students and faculty our number one priority while continuing the Catholic education in our school. As plans develop, I will keep in contact with all families. I look forward to meeting the school and parish families and creating new bonds. Have a blessed day.
