Affording a Catholic Education
Saint Ann Catholic School is committed to accessibility for families at all income levels. Therefore, we’d like to work with families to ensure they are able to give their students a strong Catholic education. Saint Ann is blessed to be able to offer two avenues for needs-based assistance in order to make a Catholic education more affordable. Our tuition is set in two categories of parishioners and non-parishioners.
1. Through our affiliated Scholarship Granting Organization (SGO) there is the potential for significant and substantial support, as a result of the Alabama Accountability Act. This is assessed at the beginning of the summer each year based on the availability and parent income guidelines set by the SGO.
2. Through the diocese’s C2 Opportunity Scholarships are available for parents to apply for assistance.
3. Saint Ann along with Annunciation of the Lord parish offers its own tuition reduction solutions that are needs-based, as well. Tuition assistance is available for those who qualify. Families are required to bring in the previous year’s tax information to assess needs.
4. In January parents will be able to apply for an educational savings account or ESA through the CHOOSE Act to help pay for tuition, certain fees and other eligible expenses up to $7,000.
We’d love to talk with you about these options. A premier Catholic education for your child is accessible! Please call the school office, at 256-353-6543 between the hours of 8:00 am through 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
