Mrs. Lumley is a native of Cullman, Alabama.  She is a product of the Catholic school system and the Diocese of Birmingham.  Mrs. Lumley attended Sacred Heart in Cullman from first through eighth grade before moving to public school system to finish out her high school career.  She received her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Athens State University where she went on to teach fifth and sixth grade for seven years in the Diocese.  Mrs. Lumley then completed her Master of Arts in Instructional Leadership from the University of Alabama in the spring of 2020.  Upon completion, she joined Saint Ann School as the principal in July of 2020.

Mrs. Lumley is happily married to her husband Jay and has two children, Arianna and Preston, who attend Saint Ann.  Catholic education has always been an important aspect of her life as she continues to share her love and knowledge with the school.

“I am blessed to be a part of such a wonderful school family.  Catholic education has formed me into a devout Christ-centered person, and I am happy to share my love for education and the faith with all our families.  Educating the whole child in a faith based education creates a strong base and allows the child to excel in all they do as they put their lives in God’s hands. Our motto is ‘cultivating truth, goodness, and beauty’ and this is what our school strives for while educating our children not only academically but also spiritually.”
