SUPPORT US WITH ANNUAL GIVING
After tuition and endowed funds, annual giving is the most important source of unrestricted funds available to Saint Ann Catholic School. Most donors begin their charitable giving relationship with the school through their support of the annual fund. Funds from annual giving provide operating monies that support the ongoing work at the school and bridge the gap between tuition and the actual cost to educate a student.
Your generosity helps us provide financial assistance to those desiring an education at Saint Ann who may otherwise not be able to afford it. It also helps us provide classroom tools and supplies such as smart boards, computers, etc…
Donations to the annual fund are fully tax-deductible, and can be paid by cash, check, credit card. Pledges can be paid in monthly, quarterly, semi-annually or annual installments.
SUPPORT US WITH ENDOWMENTS AND SCHOLARSHIPS
Saint Ann offers a wide variety of partial and full scholarships to students in need. Scholarship support is needed to continue this mission of the church. Donations of scholarships help to continue the education of our future leaders.
An endowed gift provides the gift of a Saint Ann education for generations to come.
The endowment provides the second source of stable revenue for the school in addition to tuition and annual giving. Saint Ann Catholic School is committed to building a strong endowment and with your support, we can continue our mission to provide a higher level of value and education and faith building foundation for our parents and students.
What is an endowment?
An endowment is funds set aside permanently so that only a portion of the earnings is used on an annual basis. An endowed gift is one in which the original principal is never touched, only a small percentage of the earnings are used for annual operating expenses or for the purpose the donor has specified, such as scholarships.
SUPPORT US WITH CAPITAL GIFTS
Gifts for capital expenses, building and/or renovation projects are always welcome as they help us grow and serve our students and mission here at Saint Ann Catholic School, Decatur and the Greater Morgan County, Alabama area. Gifts for capital expenses may be designated for a specific project or program.
SUPPORT US WITH MEMORIAL AND HONORARY GIFTS
Honor your loved ones or others by making a gift to Saint Ann Catholic School in memory of classmates, parents, friends, business or community leaders. When a memorial gift is made, Saint Ann will notify the honoree’s family member(s). Unless the memorial gift is designated for an endowed or capital fund, it is allocated to annual support.

Please include a note with the following information for each gift:
1. Name of person being honored and occasion OR name of deceased (and date of death, if known).
2. Name and address of surviving spouse or family member to whom notice of this gift should be sent.

4. Your name, address and telephone number and amount of gift in order to provide you with a receipt for your taxes.

Many organizations within the community donate services and/or supplies throughout the year. Through in-kind donations, we are able to better utilize other funding sources and provide a greater impact year after year to our students.
